Imposter App does not require an account. We collect limited usage analytics to understand how the app is used, improve game balance and features, and maintain the service.
Player names, saved player lists, secret words, and hints remain on your device and are not included in analytics. The app does not require your name, email address, phone number, or other contact information.
We collect app launch times, app version, operating system version, screen transitions, foreground session duration, game starts and player counts, selected language and categories, completed-game outcomes and banishment counts, and whether Play Again was selected or the app was backgrounded from the result screen. Analytics events use random event and session identifiers that are not persistent device identifiers.
We use analytics only to measure feature usage, identify setup friction, understand common group sizes and category choices, evaluate game balance and replay behavior, and improve reliability. We do not use this information for advertising, sell it, or attempt to identify individual players.
Analytics are transmitted over HTTPS to infrastructure used to host and protect the service. Hosting, network, and security providers may process IP addresses and standard request metadata as part of delivering and securing internet traffic. IP addresses are not stored in our analytics database.
We retain analytics only for as long as reasonably necessary to analyze and improve the app, then delete or aggregate them when they are no longer needed. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
The app does not require an account, sign-in, advertising identifier, or location access. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and analytics are not linked to an account or persistent device identifier.
We do not knowingly request or collect names, contact details, precise location, or other personal information from children. The limited usage analytics described above are not used for advertising or profiling.
Because analytics are not connected to an account or persistent device identifier, we generally cannot identify or retrieve analytics associated with a particular person. You may contact us with questions about our privacy practices.
